As part of our continuous upgrade process, we are deprecating the following model: chatgpt-4o-latest. Access to this model will be shut off on Feb 16, 2026.

Ahead of the shutdown timeline, we encourage you to explore GPT-5.1, our latest flagship model. We recommend GPT-5.1 for most API usage, but feel free to use gpt-5.1-chat-latest to test our latest improvements for chat use cases.
