How I built the Drugoy Shef brand and became a popular sushi chef on YouTube.
The story behind the creation of an original culinary project watched by tens of thousands of viewers.
My name is Drugoy Shef, and for several years I've been working professionally with Japanese cuisine. My main passion is sushi rolls — but not in the traditional sense. I bring an original approach, bold presentation, and a sense of humor to everything I create.
That’s how my project “Drugoy Shef” was born — a culinary YouTube channel, Telegram feed, VKontakte community, and a series of live streams where I show real kitchen life without filters or glamor.
On YouTube, I make trash-rolls, challenges, recipes with precise measurements, reaction videos, and entertaining content all tied to Japanese food culture. On Telegram, I share the most important and up-to-date content: recipes, behind-the-scenes footage, giveaways, and more.
My goal is to show the kitchen as it really is. With meat, shouting, emotions, mistakes, and victories. I want people to stop being afraid of cooking, experimenting, and trying something new.
