On 07.04.2020 The Estonian government approved a sanction limiting the opportunities of Russian and Belarusian citizens to work and do business in Estonia and is to stop issuing the relevant visas and working permits. Residence permits which have already been issued will not be revoked, nor will the basis for being and working in Estonia be repealed, and anyone who already has such a permit or fulfils these criteria will be able to apply for an extension or for the amendment of the basis of their being in the country. Due to that sanction, the Startup Committe is currently not evaluating the applications submitted by Russian and Belarusian citizens.
