First things first, I started feeling a sore throat. I thought, “Okaaaay, but I'm going to the party tomorrow!” The next morning, I woke up with swollen glands, a fever, and fatigue. It was really bad of me to go to the wedding anyway, but that was the main reason for going on holiday.

When I arrived at the restaurant, I felt like I was fading fast. Thankfully, my mom had given me a hot drink powder. The waitress was surprised when I asked for hot water instead of champagne. After drinking it, I started feeling much better. However, the next day was a nightmare: a severe cough, a blocked nose, high temperature, chills, and extreme tiredness. I was afraid it could be COVID-19, especially when I lost my sense of smell and taste.

Today, I'm dealing with excessive sneezing, coughing up phlegm, and a runny nose. I had garlic for lunch, and thankfully, my sense of taste and smell came back! I hope I will get better soon!
